American History 101 - The dangers of oversimplifying in the classroom. By Diane Ravitch and Jon Wiener:

"Students think history is 'boring' because they are taught only facts. But the facts get interesting when they are part of a conflict between different perspectives. "

With this article I'm realizing that there is huge potential for making history one of the most interesting subjects and one of the most wisdom developing subjects in students.
